FLUXERS
All Pillarhouse selective soldering systems incorporate on-board fluxing stations.
The Pillarhouse modular concept incorporates additional inline fluxing and pre-heat cells that are available as upgrades with all of our conveyorised selective soldering systems.
Fluxing modules can be configured with either drop-jet or ultrasonic heads. These can also be offered in multiple head fixed pitch array should it be necessary to simultaneously flux more than one PCB.
Drop-Jet Flux Head
The Pillarhouse Drop-jet Head can be used to spray fluids at any angle in either upward or downward directions. With its patented easy bleed and cleaning feature it is ideal for automation use.
The head comes complete with a hand control unit which allows the operator to fully program the spray head.
Ultrasonic Flux Head
The SonoTek flux system utilises ultrasonic technology to atomise liquid flux which is then transported to the PCB by an inert gas shroud lift system.
The amount of flux atomised depends exclusively on the rate at which liquid is introduced onto the surface of the nozzle, this can be controlled by altering the pressure of the system via the machines graphical user interface (GUI).
